Low-Voltage Wiring Done Right
Wireless networks have their limits. A hardwired ethernet connection to a home office, media room, or gaming setup delivers faster, more reliable performance than Wi-Fi — no dead zones, no interference, no slowdowns when multiple devices are active. And structured wiring done properly, by a licensed electrician, is cleaner and more reliable than consumer-grade DIY solutions.
PowerPlus Electric provides data and communications wiring for residential and light commercial properties throughout Fairfield and New Haven County. Call for an estimate — scope and pricing vary by project.

What We Install
Ethernet / CAT6 runs — Home office, home theater, gaming room, access point locations. We run CAT6 cable from your router or patch panel location to wherever you need a hardwired connection, terminate it cleanly with keystone jacks and wall plates, and test each run.
Coaxial cable — Cable TV distribution, antenna runs, and satellite connections. We route coaxial to the locations you need and terminate with standard connectors and wall plates.
Structured wiring — For new construction or major renovations, structured wiring organizes all low-voltage cabling (ethernet, coax, phone) in a central distribution panel. Everything is routed cleanly, labeled, and accessible.
Dedicated circuits for networking equipment — Routers, switches, NAS devices, and home servers benefit from dedicated circuits with clean power. We install dedicated circuits and appropriate outlet configurations.
Residential and Light Commercial
We work in homes and light commercial spaces — small offices, retail, and similar. If you’re outfitting a new workspace, converting a space to a home office, or wiring a small business location, we can handle the structured wiring and communications side.
We do not install security camera systems or monitoring panels — scope and pricing for data wiring are focused on ethernet, coaxial, and structured cabling.
