Small Business Electrical in Connecticut
Running a small business in Connecticut means dealing with electrical needs that fall outside typical residential scope — and outside the capacity of contractors who only handle large commercial projects. PowerPlus Electric serves the middle: small businesses, retail spaces, and offices that need licensed electrical work done by someone who shows up, communicates clearly, and gets the job done.
We handle light commercial electrical on a case-by-case basis. Call (203) 747-5335 to discuss your project and get a quote. No published pricing — scope and complexity vary too much for meaningful ranges.
What We Work On
Small business electrical — Code corrections, equipment hookups, outlet additions, lighting upgrades, and panel work for small businesses. Retail stores, restaurants, salons, medical offices, workshops, and similar.
Office electrical — New circuits for workstations, dedicated lines for server rooms and networking equipment, lighting upgrades, and outlet additions.
Panel upgrades for commercial spaces — Many older commercial spaces have undersized panels. We handle panel upgrades and service increases for small commercial properties.
Code corrections — If an inspection has flagged electrical violations, we assess the findings and correct what’s needed to bring the space into compliance.
Equipment hookups — Commercial kitchen equipment, compressors, HVAC units, and other equipment requiring dedicated circuits or specific electrical configurations.
What We Don’t Do
Light commercial means small business, retail, and office. We do not handle:
- Industrial electrical or high-voltage work
- Large-scale commercial construction or multi-unit projects
- Factory or manufacturing electrical
If you’re unsure whether your project is in scope, call and describe what you need. We’ll tell you honestly whether it’s a fit.
Working with Contractors and Property Managers
We work alongside general contractors, property managers, and building owners. If you’re coordinating a renovation or buildout that includes electrical work, we’re accustomed to working within a broader project timeline and coordinating with other trades.
