Who We Are
PowerPlus Electric & Communications LLC is a licensed Connecticut electrical contractor based out of West Haven, CT. We've been operating since 2004 — over 14 years serving homeowners and small businesses across Fairfield and New Haven Counties.
Our license is CT E1 #197810. For jobs that require it — panel upgrades, rewires, new circuits, generator hookups — we pull permits and handle inspection scheduling through the local building authority. You don't deal with the town. Every job carries a one-year workmanship warranty. We carry full liability insurance and workers' compensation.
How We Work
PowerPlus is a small, owner-operated company. When you call (203) 747-5335, you're reaching us directly — not a call center routing your request through a dispatch system. The same crew that shows up to your home is the crew that has done this work for over a decade in this area.
We give free estimates on all jobs. We tell you what the work will cost before we start it. We don't find additional work to add to the scope once we're in your home unless we find something that's a genuine safety concern — and if we do, we explain it clearly and let you make the decision.
We're not the cheapest option in Connecticut and we don't try to be. We are licensed, insured, permitted, and warranted — and we stand behind the work.
Our Service Area
We serve 35 cities across Fairfield County and New Haven County, with West Haven as our home base. Most of New Haven County is within 30 miles of us. Fairfield County jobs typically run 30–50 miles. We respond to emergency calls across the full service area 7AM–11PM, 7 days a week, with approximately one-hour on-site response.
What We Do
Our primary work is residential: panel upgrades and replacements, EV charger installation, whole-house generator hookup, home rewiring, electrical inspections, outlet and switch work, ceiling fan and fixture installation, data and communications wiring, and smart home electrical. We also handle light commercial electrical for small business owners.
We do not subcontract. Every job is performed by PowerPlus employees.
